UPDATE:
David is still very uncomfortable with all of the tubes and poking and prodding of the staff. Just want you to be aware that we are rejoicing but things are not easy in there. He is not fully awake - he wants to close his eyes - but occasionally he is asking the staff to "Stop. Where's my Mom?"
Dr. Chen is here and the breathing tube is out!!
David is talking and calling for his Mom!
