When Kathe asked Dr. Chen how he was able to persevere through 22 hours of surgery, he answered:"My wife and I train every year to run the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim (50 miles...with elevations ranging from 2,000 to 9,000 feet!)"
THE MAN IS A MACHINE! WE ARE IN AWE!
The party is drawing near...and we are getting ready for a fun night of celebrating David!

I have seen and met Dr. Chen...I couldn't stop staring at his hands. We praise God for his expertise and the timing of his career leading him here just two years ago. Neurosurgeons all over the U.S. train under Dr. Chen. God is so amazing to provide the very best for our David.

Dr. Chenn is the man, as well as the instrument and vessel, that God has ordained for such a time as this. Tomorrow, opportunity and need....courage and steadfastness....skill and giftedness....all meet in the middle of His will for David and the Baker's. And fortunately, there's room for "us" too, gathered in prayer, devotion and love. His will is perfect.
