Dr. Chen came immediately out into the waiting room and told us:
"It was beautiful. It was a miracle."
Praise the Lord with us!! We are witnessing a miracle!! The coils worked!!
IS THIS NOT THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE?!?!
Dr. Chen loved the way David's blood was flowing and he said it was the best scenario. He said he thinks David may be "complete"...we don't know what that means for right side, but it sure sounds encouraging.
I hope to tell you more about how amazing this moment was, but for now join us in praising the Lord for the mighty work He has done here at Memorial Hermann Hospital today with the hands of Dr. Chen and in the brain of our David.

Matt and I have been on our knees in prayer for all of you today. How wonderful for David to have been created and loved by such an amazing Heavenly Father and family! Wishing I was there to care for David today, but knowing he's in the best of hands, and that the "Lord is near" always.

We've been praying all day. We just ate dinner with Cunninghams and are rejoicing with you and everyone else. How wonderful to see God strengthening the faith of so many through this experience. Wow!! All I can say is, Wow!! God is amazing!! And goodness, it's been ten years at least it seems since it last snowed in Houston!! I'm am smiling big over here in Indonesia as I think of you, David, and think of how kind and how awesome our God is :)

After all my traveling to Africa, this is the first time for me to check the blog. Tears are in my eyes as I read the last bit, Davids prayer requests. I was telling some of the other staff that is here too "I just left Houston and it was snowing. Do you know how crazy that is. It never snows!"
