Yesterday was an amazing day - David was just remarkable!
Took a little stroll around the "block", did a little beat boxing, played a little djimbe, ate some yogurt, ate some grits...most of all, he had that light back in his eyes and genuine, loving, grin on his face.
And get this, he ate pancakes and eggs for breakfast today!
There are still times of disorientation for David, but he continues to come around and little by little heal completely.
This is a long road, sometimes it feels more rocky and more lengthy than others...regardless the "feeling" of the day, we thank God for being constant - being near - being bigger than feelings, bigger than any expectation we might have, bigger than what we can even imagine.
P.S. Big Bear is home! Thank you for praying for him!

God's Word says, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; ....For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, Your Savior...You are precious in my eyes and honored, and I love you..." Isa. 43:1b-4.
Thanks for all the good news!
